Parent Group provides support for families of our school and coordinates fundraising activities throughout the year.

These fundraising activities provide necessary resources for the school and students, and it is a great opportunity to be involved with the school and your child’s education.

The Parent Group is always welcoming new members and provides a good way to get to know other parents.

School Assemblies

Each Thursday of the school term, the school holds an assembly. It is held at 12:45 pm in Marcellin Hall.

This assembly allows the Principal, teachers, students and parents to catch up with all the school news for the week.

At the assembly, birthdays for the week are celebrated and each class teacher awards one of their students a blue ribbon for outstanding work during the week.

A different class hosts the assembly each week, with students announcing as well as performing for the rest of the school.

In each assembly, there is the acknowledgement of the traditional owners of the land, the national anthem, and a prayer.

School Mass

Each Monday morning at 9:10 am, the school heads to the Cathedral to take part in a school mass.

Each mass a different class is asked to host the mass and particular students are given special tasks.

This school mass is a celebration of the part Jesus plays in our lives, not only within the school but within the whole community.

Inclement Weather

In the instance of extreme weather conditions (when the temperature is over 35 degrees and on rainy days) students may be required to stay inside for recess and/or lunch.

School Fete

The school fete is held in October every two (2) years. Like most school fetes, it is filled with stalls, games, activities and food.

A small committee is formed to organise the event, which showcases the school to prospective families as well to the wider community.
